Ōshima East Breakwater Lighthouse

This red concrete post lighthouse, standing 9 meters tall, marks the end of Ōshima's east breakwater. A 1-story concrete equipment room supports the round tower, which has a focal height of 11 meters. The light emits a red flash every 3 seconds, visible for 10.7 nautical miles. The station was first established in 1981, with the current structure built in 1998. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
