About Seingskjæret Lighthouse
Seingskjæret is an operational lighthouse constructed from stone. It features an 11-meter tall, octagonal tower with an attached two-story equipment building. The tower is surmounted by a lantern and gallery. Situated on a skerry at the eastern entrance to Jørnfjord, its focal plane is 7 meters above sea level. The light emitted is white, with a characteristic of one flash every 10 seconds, and possesses a visibility range of 9.3 nautical miles. The site is accessible to the public, but the tower is not. It is located near Bø in Norway's Nordland region, with Stokmarknes being the closest port at 8.3 kilometers.
