The Schokland Noordpunt lighthouse is a replica structure built in 2007, standing 9 meters tall with its light situated at 27 meters. This square skeletal tower, constructed of steel and painted black, emits a white flash every 5 seconds and has a geographic range of 14.7 nautical miles. It marks the former northern tip of Schokland, an island that was once part of the Zuiderzee but is now incorporated into the Noordoostpolder. The original lighthouse station ceased operations around 1940.
