This channel provides access to a protected lagoon behind a spit where Sakaiminato is located. The lighthouse emits an isophase white light on a 6-second cycle, visible for 11.3 nautical miles. Its focal plane is 13 meters above sea level. The structure includes a lantern and gallery.
