The current tower, erected in 1997, succeeded an original building from 1951. It displays a white light, flashing once every 12 seconds, with a light range of 21 nautical miles. The light source sits at 67 meters above sea level. The lighthouse features a round concrete tower topped with a lantern and gallery.
