Built in 1924, the lighthouse displays red and white horizontal bands and is attached to a two-story keeper's complex. It emits two white flashes and one white flash every 15 seconds, visible for 23.2 nautical miles. The lighthouse was destaffed and transferred to local control in 2020, with plans for the keeper's complex to become a boutique hotel. Its lantern was temporarily removed for restoration in 2021 and has since been returned.
