Punta Nador is a 44-meter cylindrical tower built in 1929, located on the south side of the entrance to the Larache harbor. The structure features two octagonal stages topped by a lantern and two galleries, rising from a keeper's house. It emits a white flash every 15 seconds, visible for over 22 nautical miles. The tower itself is painted white with blue trim. Adjacent to the lighthouse, a maritime academy was established by the fisheries ministry with assistance from JICA.
Why it matters: This lighthouse is essential for guiding vessels safely into and out of the Larache harbor, supporting local fishing fleets and commercial shipping.
