This octagonal fiberglass tower, built in 1918, stands 11 meters tall and emits an occulting white and red light on a 4-second cycle. Situated on a headland in Oleiros, it marks the eastern side of the Ría de la Coruña entrance, guiding vessels approaching La Coruña. The focal height of the light is 56 meters above sea level, providing a geographic range of 19.5 nautical miles. The structure includes a lantern and gallery and is painted white. Its location is approximately 1.5 km west of the village of Mera.
