About Punta Del Castillete Lighthouse
The Punta del Castillete Lighthouse became operational in 1996, with its first light appearing that same year. This white, quadrilateral tower stands 20 meters tall and is distinguished by red banding. Its light emits two green flashes every 7 seconds from a focal height of 114 meters. The lighthouse is situated on cliffs facing the Atlantic Ocean on the southwestern side of Gran Canaria. Its geographic range extends for 3 nautical miles.

The Punta del Castillete Lighthouse (Spanish: Faro de Punta del Castillete) is an active lighthouse on the Canary island of Gran Canaria. It is located on cliffs above the resort and fishing harbour of Puerto de Mogán, in the municipality of Mogán. Punta Castillete is on the south-western side of the island facing the Atlantic Ocean, and lies between Maspalomas Lighthouse to the south and the lighthouse of Punta Sardina to the north.Light & Optic
