This lighthouse, established in 1954, is situated on a steep point approximately 8 kilometers north of Cedeira. The structure is a cylindrical white tower with red trim, standing 9 meters tall, topped by a lantern and gallery, and attached to a one-story keeper's house. Its focal height reaches 89 meters, providing a geographic range of 23.7 nautical miles. The light emits three white flashes followed by one white flash every 24 seconds. Though authorized in 1929 and completed by 1934, its service was delayed for 20 years due to circumstances including the Spanish Civil War and World War II. The site is open to visitors, but the tower remains closed.
