This cylindrical concrete lighthouse stands on a square concrete base. The 8-meter tower is painted white and reaches a focal height of 9 meters. It emits a single white flash every 11 seconds, with a geographic range of 10 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located on the southeastern tip of Setindan island, near the entrance to Mersing's harbor. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This lighthouse guides vessels entering Mersing's harbor and warns them of the landmass of Setindan island, ensuring safe passage into the port.
