About Pulau Papan Lighthouse
Pulau Papan Lighthouse is a cylindrical steel tower standing 18 meters tall. Its hexagonal skeletal structure includes a gallery and an enclosed watch room. Established in 1897, the original lighthouse was replaced in 2007 by the current structure. The lighthouse is located on Pulau Papan, an island near Labuan. While visitors can access the site, the tower itself is closed to the public.
