This white steel framework tower stands 79 meters tall, with a focal height of 27 meters. Its light emits a white flash on a 20-second cycle. The structure is square, built in 1961, and is operational. Vessels can expect a geographic range of 15 nautical miles from this lighthouse. The tower was temporarily destroyed at some point after its initial construction.
Why it matters: The light guides vessels in the Alice Passage around the end of the Semporna peninsula.
