About Pulau Enggang Lighthouse
The Pulau Enggang lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower standing 11 meters tall and painted white. Its light is positioned 60 meters above sea level, emitting a single white flash every 8 seconds with a geographic range of 20.1 nautical miles. This structure is situated on a small island close to Pulau Tuba, approximately 3.9 kilometers from the nearest port of Langkawi. The current block tower replaced an earlier skeletal structure, with evidence suggesting construction or recent work occurred around February 2009.
