About Port Credit Inner Channel Lighthouse
The Port Credit Inner Channel lighthouse is a square pyramidal tower constructed of concrete, standing 16 meters tall. It features white paint with red trim and is illuminated by a single white flash every 4 seconds, visible for 13 nautical miles. Raised on four concrete pillars, this 1991 structure is attached to the office of the Port Credit Business Association. It was built as a replica of the 1882 Port Credit lighthouse and is integrated into the Credit Village Marina development. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: As a replica of the original 1882 lighthouse, it preserves a visual link to the area's maritime heritage and enhances the waterfront's appeal within the Credit Village Marina.
