This concrete lighthouse, painted green, stands 5 meters high with a focal plane of 8 meters. Its cylindrical, hourglass shape is a functional element within the port environment. The light emits a green flash every 3 seconds, with a geographic range of 9.7 nautical miles. It is situated on the south side of the Dique de Levante breakwater, near Calvià. The structure and its immediate surroundings are not accessible to the public.
Why it matters: The lighthouse is critical for the safe navigation of roll-on/roll-off ferries and other commercial vessels entering and exiting the port. Its green flash marks the south side of the Dique de Levante breakwater, a high-traffic maritime zone.
