Established in 1979, this navigational aid marks the eastern breakwater of Ohata's west harbor. The structure consists of a 9-meter concrete post connected to a square, single-story concrete equipment shelter, all painted white. Its focal plane is 11 meters above sea level, and it exhibits an isophase green light with a 6-second period (Iso G 6s). This light provides a geographic range of 10.7 nautical miles. Situated approximately 12 kilometers north of Mutsu in Aomori Prefecture, it serves the port of Ohata, located 0.6 kilometers distant.
