This lighthouse is a 9.5 meter white concrete post, situated atop a 1-story concrete equipment shelter. It stands on the west side of the Nishima Misaki peninsula, marking the entrance to Nishinoura harbor. The structure is located at the extremity of the main western breakwater. Its green light flashes once every 3 seconds, providing a visible signal for mariners. The geographic range of the light is 12.2 nautical miles.
