Built in 1991, this 9.5-meter tall concrete structure has a focal height of 13 meters. The white, cylindrical tower, topped with a flare, connects to a small equipment shelter. Its light characteristic is a green flash every 3 seconds (Fl G 3s), with a geographic range of 11.3 nautical miles. Located at the eastern end of a detached breakwater in Nakagusuku Bay, south of the Katsuren Saki peninsula, the site is open, but the tower is not accessible.
