The Long Rock Lighthouse, built in 1915, is an octagonal concrete tower standing 13 meters high. Its lantern is painted red, while the tower itself is white. The light emits white flashes every 15 seconds, visible for 14.9 nautical miles. The first two lights serving Negro Harbour were established in 1872 and 1887, located 1300 meters to the north. The current lighthouse, which is the third structure, was recently officially renamed Long Rock Light by the Coast Guard. The site is open to the public, but the tower is closed.
