Constructed in 1827, the Little Mark Island Monument serves as both a day beacon and a shipwreck refuge. This pyramidal stone structure is located on Little Mark Island in the northern part of Casco Bay, off the coast of southern Maine. It is one of only three similar structures built in the state.
