About Île Bouchard Range Front Lighthouse
The Île Bouchard Range Front light was established in 1902 on the southeast side of Île Bouchard, guiding vessels along a range line 934 meters southwest of the rear light. The current cylindrical steel tower stands 9 meters tall, with a focal height of 13 meters. It displays a continuous green light. The tower is orange with a black vertical stripe on the range line, aiding daytime identification. This structure replaced an earlier light that consisted of a square platform supported by four steel piles.
