Konoishi lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower standing 12 meters tall, painted black with a single red horizontal band. It is mounted on a concrete pier as part of a structure with two galleries. The lighthouse stands on a submerged reef located about 5 km southeast of Tomo harbor. Its operational life has included an increase in height through the addition of an upper stage. Konoishi emits a white light with two flashes every 5 seconds, visible for 11.6 nautical miles. The tower itself is not open to the public.
