About Komori Shima Lighthouse
This concrete lighthouse, built in 1954, stands 13 meters tall with a focal height of 62 meters. Its cylindrical tower is painted white with red bands. The light emits three white flashes every 12 seconds. The lighthouse is situated atop a large rock approximately 1200 meters off the northern tip of Nakanoshima.
