Built in 1966, Kome Saki lighthouse is a cylindrical white concrete tower measuring 10 meters in height. Its light source is situated 25 meters above mean sea level. The lighthouse complex features a round concrete tower that emerges from a single-story equipment building. The light produces an isophase white flash every 6 seconds, with a recorded range of 14.3 nautical miles. Positioned on a headland on the western side of the Okayama harbor entrance, the lighthouse site is accessible to visitors, but the tower remains closed. The nearest port is Yamada, 2.5 kilometers away.
