About Kaze No Tō Lighthouse
Kaze No Tō, completed in 1997, functions as the ventilation tower for the Tokyo Bay tunnel. This round structure stands on a large platform and reaches a focal height of 30 meters. It emits three white flashes, two short followed by one long, every 10 seconds. The tower itself is approximately 24 meters tall and has a distinctive sail-like appearance, one of two such structures.
