This cylindrical concrete lighthouse, standing 16 meters tall, was first lit in 1980. Its focal plane reaches 31 meters above sea level. The tower displays a white and red light, flashing an occulting white or red signal every 6 seconds, depending on the viewing angle. Located on a headland about 24 kilometers southwest of Al Jadida, it is situated near the significant industrial port of Jorf Lasfar, 2.6 kilometers away. The site is accessible to the public, but entry into the tower is not permitted.
