The Isla Ferrol del Norte lighthouse is a 7-meter cylindrical concrete tower with red and white horizontal bands, built in 2000. It stands on a pyramidal concrete base, topped by a round fiberglass tower. Its focal height reaches 25 meters, from which it emits a white light. This light flashes twice every 10 seconds, providing a visible signal over a distance of 14.3 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on a small island at the southern entrance to Chimbote harbor in Peru, approximately 3.2 kilometers from the nearest port.
