This concrete tower, standing 7 meters tall, is located on the west breakwater of Port St.-Pierre, on the east side of Hyères. Its octagonal pyramidal shape is painted white with a narrow red band at the top. The focal height of the light is 9 meters, and it emits a white flash every 5 seconds, with a geographic range of 10 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed. It is situated near Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer, about 1 kilometer from the nearest port.
Why it matters: The lighthouse marks the western breakwater of Port St.-Pierre, guiding vessels safely into the harbor.
