This octagonal concrete lighthouse, built in 1910, stands on a rocky shoal situated about 22 kilometers northeast of the Île de Bréhat. Painted black with a single yellow horizontal band, the 19-meter tower emits a white light with a flash characteristic of one white flash every 5 seconds. Its focal plane is 15 meters above the water, providing a geographic range of 11.9 nautical miles. Accessible only by boat due to generally rough seas, the lighthouse is located 17.2 kilometers from the nearest port of Paimpol. It has been an operational aid to navigation since its construction.
