This stone tower, standing 12 meters tall, is located about 600 meters off the Pointe de Kervoyal in Brittany. Painted black with a yellow band near the top, the cylindrical structure has a focal height of 7 meters. Its light emits quick flashes of white or red. The lighthouse marks the northern side of the entrance to the Vilaine estuary. The site is accessible to the public by boat, though the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: The lighthouse is essential for guiding vessels entering and exiting the Vilaine estuary, providing directional information on the estuary's north side.
