Its light, positioned 9 meters above sea level, emits a single green flash every 4 seconds. The lighthouse has a geographic range of 10 nautical miles. While the site is accessible to the public, the tower itself remains closed.
Why it matters: The lighthouse clearly marks the main eastern breakwater of Port St.-Pierre, guiding vessels entering and exiting the harbor.
