About Hätteberget Lighthouse
The Hätteberget lighthouse, built and first lit in 1977, is a 26-meter-high cylindrical concrete tower. Its exterior is painted with the upper half in red and the lower half in black. The structure includes a lantern room, upper and lower galleries, and a helipad situated above the lantern. It emits two white, red, or green flashes every 12 seconds. This lighthouse is situated about 8 kilometers west-southwest of Marstrand and 3.5 kilometers south of Hamneskär. The site is open to the public, though access to the tower itself is restricted.
