This concrete lighthouse, built in 1968, stands 20 meters tall on a rock approximately 700 meters off the southern tip of Iō Shima. The round, tapered structure features a large round equipment section. Its white tower houses a light that emits a red flash every 3 seconds. With a focal height of 15 meters, its geographic range is limited to 2 nautical miles. Access to the site is boat-only.
