This cylindrical concrete lighthouse stands 19 meters tall on Hira Shima, an island off the northeastern coast of Nakadōri Shima. Its focal plane is 53 meters above sea level. It is situated at the western tip of the island, marking the strait between Hira Shima and Nakadōri Shima. Access to the site is available only by boat.
