About Hime Shima Lighthouse

This red, cylindrical concrete tower stands 32 meters tall. It emits three red flashes every 12 seconds from a focal plane of 12 meters. The lighthouse is located at the end of a breakwater extending from the east side of Hime Shima, a small island off the eastern harbor of Tahara. A radar reflector is also present on the structure.
