The Hashikami Lighthouse, built in 1959, is a white, cylindrical concrete tower standing 11 meters tall. Its focal height reaches 22 meters above sea level. The structure consists of the round tower with a gallery, mounted atop a one-story equipment room; it lacks a lantern. The lighthouse emits a white flash every four seconds, visible for 13.6 nautical miles. It is situated on a bluff north of Taneichi port, near the border of Aomori Prefecture, approximately 15 kilometers southeast of Hachinohe. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
