This red, cylindrical concrete tower stands 13 meters tall. It was built and first lit in 2023, and its focal plane is also 13 meters above the water. The lighthouse emits two red flashes every 6 seconds. The structure itself is 14 meters high. This modern structure serves as a navigational aid.
Why it matters: This light and an adjacent light flank the main entrance to the port of Hakodate.
