This lighthouse is situated on a skerry approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Norrsundet in Gävle kommun. The current round, cylindrical concrete tower, standing 8 meters high, was built and first lit in 1954. It features an octagonal lantern and gallery. The station was originally established in 1927, indicating a long-standing requirement for navigational assistance in the area. Its light produces four flashes in a 12-second cycle, showing white, red, or green depending on the direction. The geographic range of the light is 10.4 nautical miles.
