About Enoura Kō Lighthouse

It is situated at the end of a detached outer breakwater for Enoura, the port of Hiro Shima island. This island is located in the Seto Inland Sea, approximately 8 kilometers northwest of Marugame. The light emits an isophase green signal every 6 seconds from a focal height of 13 meters. Its geographic range is 11.3 nautical miles. Visitors can access the site, but the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This light marks the end of the outer breakwater, guiding vessels safely into Enoura port and preventing groundings.
