This lighthouse, situated 0.2 km from Ena port in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, marked the inner breakwater's eastern extent. The structure consisted of a 13m white cylindrical concrete post mounted on a square, single-story concrete equipment shelter. Its light produced a green flash with a 5-second period (Fl G 5s). The lighthouse ceased operations in 2017 and was dismantled between 2019 and 2020. The site remains accessible, but the tower is closed to the public.
Why it matters: The light served as a navigation aid for vessels entering and leaving Ena harbor.
