About Elbow Of Cross Ledge Lighthouse
Built in 1910, this lighthouse stood on the north side of the ship channel in Delaware Bay, New Jersey. The structure reached a height of 19 meters, with its focal plane situated 18.5 meters above sea level. It emitted a white and red light. The original lighthouse was destroyed in 1953 following a collision with a ship. A replacement skeleton tower was subsequently erected on the original foundation.
