About Cape Jaffa Lighthouse
The Cape Jaffa Lighthouse was originally situated on Margaret Brock Reef, near the cape of the same name on South Australia's southeast coast. Its tower was moved inland to the town of Kingston SE in 1976. The National Trust of South Australia now owns the former lighthouse, operating it as a museum. As of 2022, the original platform supporting the reef-based tower remained in place. The lighthouse ceased operations in 1976.
