Located on the southwestern tip of Bathurst Island, this lighthouse became operational during Australia's "Golden Age of Lighthouses," built between 1913 and 1920. The tower stands 30 meters above sea level. Its light emits three white flashes every 15 seconds, visible for a range of 12 nautical miles. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority currently operates this navigational aid. While the tower itself is closed to visitors, the site is accessible.
