This 9-meter cylindrical tower, built in 1995, stands white with a single green horizontal band. It is mounted on a square platform supported by four cylindrical legs at the north end of a detached section of the Calumet Harbor Breakwater. The light emits a green flash every 4 seconds, visible for 10 nautical miles. Accessible only by boat, the structure is maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard and remains closed to the public for safety and operational purposes. It is situated across the harbor entrance from the Calumet Harbor Light.
