Located approximately 2.1 kilometers from the port of Belawan on Sumatra, it guides vessels with a geographic range of 12.4 nautical miles. The tower features a gallery and is positioned off the harbor entrance. The site and structure are not accessible to the public.
Why it matters: This beacon served as the rear light for both inbound and outbound ranges, facilitating safe navigation into and out of Belawan harbor.
