The structure features a round concrete tower with a double gallery, mounted on a round conical stone pier. This red tower emits a single red flash every 3 seconds, visible for 10.4 nautical miles. Ama Se is located approximately 0.6 kilometers from the port of Hashihama, south of the Imabari end of the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge in Ehime Prefecture. While the tower itself is closed to visitors, the site is accessible.
