Located off the south end of Kashima Shima, south of Kurahashi Shima in Hiroshima Prefecture, the light is at an elevation of 11 meters. It emits a white light with a flash characteristic of Fl W 5s. The edifice consists of a round stone tower with a lantern and gallery, placed on a round concrete pier. The site is accessible, but the tower is not open to the public. Tainouchi port is 4.7 kilometers distant.
