About Zhygylgan Lighthouse
This stone lighthouse was built in 2021, with its first illumination also occurring that year. The structure is a pyramidal tower standing 7 meters tall. It is situated on a promontory at Zhygylgan, on the north side of the Tupkaragan Peninsula. Originally, the light emitted two white flashes every 7 seconds with a focal plane of 170 meters. The site is accessible, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
