Yúnliàng Hé Lighthouse

A round concrete tower, 12 meters in height, is located approximately 12 kilometers north of Sheyang, China, at the southern boundary of an estuary opening. Its light, a red flash occurring every 4 seconds (Fl R 4s), is visible for 11.9 nautical miles from a focal plane 14.9 meters above the water. This structure is in the Jiangsu region and serves as a reference point for ships entering and exiting the estuary. The nearest port, Sheyang, is 8.1 kilometers distant.

Why it matters: This light marks the southern side of the estuary's entry channel north of Sheyang. Its red signal helps local vessels and fishing boats navigate the area, avoiding groundings in the shifting estuarine setting.
